Mr. Badass himself may not have come out and said it, but a lot of bloggers and political junkies think it's only a matter of time before Schwarzenegger throws his refined physique behind John McCain.
Apparently they share similar interests and are a little buddy-buddy.
Also interesting is Schwarzenegger's comments on the split in the Kennedy household, with the votes fairly even on the Democratic side.
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger Tuesday stopped short of announcing which Republican presidential candidate he will endorse. The Governor will meet all of the GOP candidates Wednesday in Los Angeles. But it is clear which one Schwarzenegger favors: John McCain.
At his annual address to the Sacramento Press Club, Governor Schwarzenegger stopped short of endorsing a Presidential candidate, but it's clear he's leaning toward his dear friend, Senator John McCain.
"I enjoy him because he also, of course, is someone who's working on the environment and believes strongly that you can have a strong economy and good environment," said Gov. Schwarzenegger.
The Governor's aides say Schwarzenegger has met with Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney about their candidacy.
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, weighing in on the presidential race, said that both Republican presidential candidate John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama are on the right track in "talking about bringing people together" across partisan lines.
And, he said that the high profile and competing endorsements the Kennedy family - not including his wife Maria Shriver - in the Democratic presidential contest represents a dramatic departure from past years.
"What's interesting is that, within the family, for the first time you have different opinions," he said. "I've been in the family 30 years, and I've never seen that...that's really the story - what created that, and how Caroline and Teddy hooked up with the same opinion, and Kathleen ended up going with Hillary."
Thank you very much, John, for the nice introduction. It's great to be here again, like he said. This is the fifth time that I've been here, and I always enjoyed it, enjoyed it thoroughly. And I'm absolutely convinced that I will also enjoy today's little talk and question and answer period.

My daughter and I had the honor of volunteering for John McCain's New Hampshire campaign. He was gracious enough to indulge our picture request.
