I was honored to cover The Clinton Global Initiative 2007 Annual Meeting this week. Surrounded by heads of state, movie stars, CEOs, and other billionaires, naturally I felt right at home. My mission: to find out what really goes on at an event like this, beyond the empty sound bytes that traditional media usually provides.

Basically, there are a few speeches and press conferences and other pieces of necessary fluff and stance. But mainly, the billionaires stay behind closed doors in workshops where they network with other billionaires to bring about good change. Technologists, scientists, businessmen, educators, dignitaries - they meet each other and figure out how they can mutually benefit their bottom lines as well as the planet and its inhabitants.
