On November 26, 2007, and according to Venezuelan Vice President Jorge Rodriguez , eighty people were detained during political protests at Carabobo and Aragua states, central <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Venezuela, this morning. They were protesting against the proposed constitutional reform. Sadly, one person died during the events: José Aníbal Oliveros was shot dead as he tried to surpass the blockage made by protestors. 19-year-old Oliveros was on his way to work early in the morning.
