Why white people like the idea of a black spokesman

Nothing is more distressing to busy white people than the idea of individual opinions among minorities, especially potentially violent, perpetually dissatisfied minorities like blacks and Latinos, but especially blacks. They are all dissatisfied about different things then how do we pacify them? This is the kind of thing that leads to Apartheid. Humans do not like complexity, they reject solutions for things that involve thought and discernment.
