Is your wage increasing as rapidly as the dollar is declining?

the US Dollar has lost nearly 60% of it's
purchasing power in just the past 4 years, how much has your purchasing power gone up since 2003?

Try it out, just do a little math.

If you had a salary of lets say $30,000 in 2003, thats worth...$12,000 today.
So
your salary would have to be at about $75,000 today just to be in same
place you were in 2003 - making $30,000.  4 years of work + moving up
the pay ladder, just to be in the same place...doesn't feel like much
of an achievement does it?
