In the meantime, Ban Ki-moon hoped that the democratic process in Myanmar would continue. The United Nations had already set schedules for deliberations on Myanmar.
According to Dino, the agenda was expected to be discussed in December.
During the meeting, Ban Ki-moon also expressed appreciation for Indonesia`s hard work in reconstructing and rehabilitating Aceh which was hit by tsunami in 2004.
Dino Patti Djalal said during the cordial meeting, Ban Ki-moon also praised Indonesia`s progressive steps and achievements in the political reconciliation process in Aceh after the signing of the Aceh peace accord.
Ban Ki-moon said he would like to know in detail how Aceh had developed after the conclusion of the peace accord. Therefore, the UN secretary general would be Yudhoyono`s guest during his stay in Indonesia.
