Poor Lebanon

Michael Totten has no doubts about what Tehran wants:

The news report he cites is from the Lebanese paper Naharnet.  He goes on to comment, in response to a reader::

I'm pretty sure, though, that if Syria and Iran were to leave you alone, the US and Israel wouldn't feel they have a big stake in Lebanon either.
