Porch Roof Falls, Kills Man Trying To Steal Supports

Ohio - A Toledo man died yesterday after the front porch roof on a North Toledo house caved in on him, apparently while he was trying to steal metal supports, authorities said. Marvin Dixon, 41, was pronounced dead at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center about 5:20 a.m. His injury at 1127 Sherman St. is believed to have occurred about 4:35 a.m.
