March 13, 2007 North Carolina - A fire in a storage area forced the evacuation of 50 employees from a textile plant Monday night. Fire officials said they received a call at 8 p.m. about a fire at Guilford Performance Textiles, 200 Dickens Road, which manufactures polyester yarn.
