President expresses concern over government funds parked in banks

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has
expressed concern to see that trillions of rupiahs of regional
government funds were being parked in banks while regions badly needed
much money to develop their infrastructure.

"This kind of condition is ironical," the president stressed when he
delivered the government's explanations on its policies on regional
development at a plenary session of the Regional Representatives
Council (DPR) here on Thursday.
