Truemors
On October 16, 1976, a large crowd gathered at Ellsworth AFB outside Rapid City, South Dakota, to see President Ford as he arrived for a campaign stop. They also listened to his remarks which included the Commander-in-Chief's thanks to the military personnel for their service to the nation.
The President's schedule also had him travelling to Vandenberg Middle School near Rapid City.
