Berlin economics senator to visit Mumbai

Berlin is a European center of excellence for rail traffic technology and auto manufacture. Bombardier Transportation has its world headquarters in the city, which also hosts other famous-name corporations like Siemens, Alcatel, Transrapid, DaimlerChrysler, BMW, Visteon, VW and Delphi. The local mobility industry employs total of about 50,000 people. Another 2,000 conduct research at various establishments, and a further 35,000 people are employed by public transportation companies.
