Leading Latin American furniture trade show to be held in southern Brazil

Organized by the Furniture Industry association of Bento Goncalves - SINDMOVEIS - the show's services are aimed at attracting new business. MOVELSUL is held in even-numbered years, and because it will take place next year in March, it will showcase launches, an ideal event for shopkeepers and importers to get to know trends and use of new raw materials.

The first Buyer's Project was held during MOVELSUL BRASIL, with the support of the federal government, in which guest importers sat face-to-face with Brazilian manufacturers to form partnerships by presenting their needs and profiles.

The traditional Salao Design Movelsul, an international furniture design award aimed at the integration between the industry and design professionals, is held during MOVELSUL BRASIL.

This competition, open to Brazilian companies, students and professionals from Latin America, the Caribbean and European Union, has already received over 4,700 entries throughout its ten editions. Cash awards for next year's edition will total R$100 thousand (approximately US$ 50 thousand).
