ScholarOne awarded two patents for innovative technology

The two patents, United States Patent 7,257,767 ("System and method for publishing documents") and United States Patent 7,263,655 ("System and method for publishing manuscripts") were issued in August 2007.

"We decided to pursue these patents because we believe the processes behind ScholarOne products are the most advanced in the industry, helping make our products the most configurable, comprehensive, easy-to-use online submission and review systems available," said Keith MacGregor, Executive Vice President of Thomson Scientific's Academic & Government Market.

"We see the grant of these patents as proof positive that ScholarOne products are unique offerings with unique infrastructures. They are in a class by themselves."
