Robotics and the food industry will be the focus of this year's forum. Mr. Jiro Kawasaki will begin the forum with a keynote speech. He is a member of the Japanese House of Representatives and current Secretary General of the Germany-Japan Representatives Friendship Federation.
Following his talk, a panel of experts will discuss "Running a Business in Germany" with a focus on Germany's tax and legal framework for businesses. Germany recently reformed its company taxation laws bringing the average tax burden on businesses to 30%, making the corporate tax structure in Germany competitive with other major European countries.
