Queen Anne - Car Crashes Into School Bus at Residential Intersection

Yesterday at approximately 8:00 a.m. PST a car ran into a school bus on the corner of Blaine and 2nd Ave on Queen Anne in Seattle. This is a four-way intersection located in a thick residential neighborhood that is controlled only by yield signs. Earlier this summer a motorcyclist was creamed by a car on this same intersection. The thing that makes Queen Anne driving so dangerous is that there are tall trees, buildings and parked cars blocking visibility on virtually every intersection and nearly all intersections are controlled by yield signs only. Throw into the mix hundreds of children and pets and you have a recipe for disaster. People, slow down!
