Hi - I'm NowPublic's News Director.
I'm a Brit abroad in Canada. Before coming to Vancouver I lived in London where I worked for the BBC. I was with BBCNews.com for nine years, and as a senior editor spent my days working out how to cover big global stories, and reaching out to the people at the centre of the news. Iraq, Afghanistan, the US elections, 9/11, the Bali bombing - they've all kept me on my toes.
Being in Vancouver, one of the best places on Earth, so people say, means I can go skiing in the winter and to the beach in summer. Not that I ever leave the office, of course...
