Raging Fire At Pallet Yard

June 14, 2007 California - Residents whose homes were threatened by a raging fire at a pallet yard Wednesday are breathing a sigh of relief after firefighters rallied to save their homes. The fire broke out shortly after 9:30 a.m. at E and A Pallet, near Road 112 and Avenue 152 west of Tipton, and immediately erupted into an inferno that consumed thousands of tinder-dry wooden pallets.
