Rain triggers flooding in Fallbrook (San Diego Union-Tribune)

SAN DIEGO – A thunderstorm triggered flash flooding near Fallbrook early today, the National Weather Service reported. Flood waters were streaming at about 25 mph beginning at about 2:30 a.m. as rain fell at a rate of more than a half-inch every half-hour, according to an NWS advisory.
