Dodge RAM pickup trucks and Jeep utility vehicles are two of the most famous ranges in history.

Dodge trucks have been around since about 1917 but the RAM brand came
into existence in 1981. The RAM name was taken from the bonnet ornament
of previous trucks. The Dodge RAM pickup trucks were based on the
earlier Dodge D series pickup trucks.
