Earth Shaking In Taiwan, Don’t Panic!

We witnessed an earthquake in Taiwan. We barely noticed it in Hsinchu, but it seems that it disrupted, phones, internet and other services and made the typewriter used again in offices.

I used to work in finance in Montreal, Quebec, Canada before moving to Taiwan with my wife to teach ESL. I have been in Taiwan for a year.

I read a lot and write a lot. I read a lot of current events and science-fiction books from authors like Frank Herbert, Isaac Asimov, Alastair Reynolds, Dan Simmons, Orson Scott Card, Kevin J. Anderson.

I write fiction, mostly science-fiction stories. I do not have the luxury to devote as much time as I would like to my creative writing, but I hope to remedy this situation in the future. Until then, I still write science-fiction and fiction pieces, I take a lot of photos (in nine months, I have taken over 70000 photos with my Nikon D200), review a lot of shows and write about racism.
