Obviously its the Jordanian band JadaL are the first to start a genre with "Arabic" and "Rock" in its title...."Arabic Rock", that was back in 2003 when they first released their cover hit ... "Kol magool el tobah" Abd el Haleem 7afez cover, and they did it in rock style.

and after with releasing their live album in late 2006, with original songs sang in arabic with rock music...

anyway i really don't see anything related to rock with that band's music!!!(im not sure about Jazz!)
