Red Moon - Totality

The famous red moon totality that we have been waiting for. I admit that before this I bracketed like mad trying to get it. It is very faint to the eyes and almost unviewable through the 30D viewfinder (and the angle finder). So I am actually bracketing focus until I get it. Then of course the moon moves and I have to bring it back into view and sometimes refocus. Very tiresome. At this time I'm wishing I had bought a tracking motor. I'm also cursing not switching to my heavier tripod and its 3-way head instead of this field tripod and its Manfrotto pistol grip.
