Red hot and skanking, The Acoustic Theatre play Jackpot in Wales

The Acoustic Theatre played a fabulous 2-tone set at the Llangollen fringe at the end of July. They were playing support to Ska Acoustica and Eric Faulkner, and got the joint jumping with a set of largely 2 tone ska, but with more than a slight punk influence. Check out the video, it's all atmosphere.

Things didn't go quite as well for Ska Acoustica, possibly due to the presence of a Bay City Roller in the line up. There was too much Shangalang when the crowd wanted Ska-ngalang. However Jennie Bellestar worked the crowd well in a wicked version of Iko Iko.

The Acoustic Theatre are an acoustic ska band fronted by former International Beat lead singer and songwriter, Tony Beet. You'll find more audio and video on Tony Beet's website, tonybeet.co.uk
