Glacier National Park turns 97 this week and you might want to put it on your list of summer destinations because the number of glaciers in the park is quickly dwindling. There were roughly 150 glaciers in the park in 1850, of which about 10% remain. In an effort to promote awareness the National Environmental Trust from Montana says, “If Congress doesn’t act soon to address global warming, we’re going to have to rename Glacier.”
