Renter Who Alerted Owner Is Hurt In Fire - Winston-Salem Fire Department

January 11, 2007 North Carolina - A Winston-Salem man was in critical condition last night after being burned in a fire that destroyed a house in the southeast section of the city. The burned man, Shane Hodge, rented a room in a house owned by Earl Finnemore at 112 Wintergreen Road. Finnemore, 76, was home but escaped unharmed. Another man who rents from Finnemore was not home.
