LONDON - Pete Doherty was arrested this weekend on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs, a published report said Monday.

Metropolitan Police declined to directly confirm the report in The Sun newspaper, but said a 28-year-old man was arrested Saturday night in London on suspicion of drug possession. He was released on bail pending investigation and was ordered to return to a police station next month.

The problem with Pete Doherty is that he's A) instantly recognizeable in the UK, and B) always in possession of drugs. Robert Downey, Jr. had similar issues: whenever a cop saw him, he was likely to be doing something illegal, and was therefore extra-bustable.
