Foreign Affairs Minister Peter MacKay had an interesting slip of the tongue while being interviewed on CTV's Question Period yesterday. When asked about Putin's charge that American Unilateralism was responsible for increasing world tensions around nuclear weapons, MacKay replied; "well what do you expect from the Soviets...ah, Russians. " Maybe the slip of the tongue was because Peter had read this headline; Icy blast from Putin hints at a new Cold War Or it could just be good old fashioned right wing nostalgia for the good old days before Russia became capitalist
