ReviewMe: Paying Bloggers To Be Bloggers

I’m being paid to write this review, an act that immediately plunges me into the apocalyptic depths of blogging immorality pontificated upon at length by TechCrunch’s Michael Arrington, among others.

The thing is, I don’t feel vile. Symbolic Order exists for our readers, to inform them, entertain them, and give them a good reading experience. I hope that, by writing this review of a service I’m sure will be of interest to many of my fellow bloggers, I’m writing in line with that mission. That a handful of dollars are coming my way because of it is really no different from the income I get from those sponsored ads over on the right.
