In conjunction with UBC’s Living the Global City and the 2006 World Urban Forum, the Vancouver Art Gallery is pleased to host this discussion presented by the Vancouver International Centre for Contemporary Asian Art (Centre A). The public sphere is rapidly being privatized and now reflects more on the movement of goods and capital than on the expression of individual rights.

thanks to everyone for coming! We had an awesome turnout of about
100 people, all this on a beautiful spring evening in vancouver....

I
did want to provide one little correction to the information that is
being circulated from the world urban forum website - the blocks are
wooden and have embedded technology that is not RFID.

Stay tuned to http://www.in-ex.ca for information about legions of really fabulous upcoming IN[]EX events...
