RI, Russian to cooperate in public sector monitoring

BPK Chairman Anwar Nasution and his Russian counterpart, Sergey V. Stephasin, would sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday when Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives in Jakarta for a state visit.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Putin were also scheduled to ink some other bilateral cooperation agreements.

The Indonesian Supreme Audit Board and its Russian counterpart had agreed to develop bilateral ties through a cooperation agreement based on the principles of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) and the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI).
