Ricardo's Blog: Joao Helio's senseless crime in Rio

The details of this crime are so gruesome that no horror movie to date has even como close to a crime like this.  However, in this real-life story six year old Joao Helio Fernandes Vieites lost his life.  He was an innocent victim of the violence in Rio de Janeiro, the most violent city in South America and of the most violent in the world.  People in Rio are so accustomed to violence that one more crime could seem like a minor thing, but this time the citizens of Rio and the whole country where shocked when they learn the details.
