Condi's right. Freedom is hard to gain and defend but worth it. Condemn the bloody murdering suicide bombers and kidnappers, not someone who is trying to help people to freedom. Ask the Kurds, if it is worth it. Stop whinging and support democracy.
Sure "freedom" is hard to gain. But why are we in Iraq in the first place. The troops who have died and the money spent were the result of a war taht started out to beat terrorists (no connection between Saddam and Osama), to find weapons of mass destruction (maybe they are buried in the sands), bring democracy to Iraq (that blood and civil ar you smell not democracy). The Kurds - they were happy even before we invaded,
I support democracy, civil liberties and the Constitution. But I also support the idea that our democratic ideas and forms cannot be shoved down the throats of others. It must be welcomed, accepted and nurtured.
