Rob Feenie, one of Vancouver's and Canada's most critically acclaimed chefs was apparently assaulted by an eventgoer at a culinary event in Vancouver called Feast of Fields.  He owns Lumiere and Feenie's, some of the top restaurants in Vancouver and is famous for his beef burger. According to witnesses, an angry exchange of words was followed by Feenie being sprayed with a CO2 cannister of fois gras moose in his face.

At the end of the day while everyone was packing up, the young man walked up to Feenie, said a few words and unloaded a cO2 canister of foie gras mousse all over the Iron Chef.

Oh Gawd...not more of that foie gras silliness. Rob Feenie took time out to share some fish he had personally line caught and some house cured proscuitto. He was there all day in a tent by himself and then some line jockey from Beyond restaurant (who has since been canned) went over and sprayed him on a dare. It wasn't a protest. It was an ill-considered adolescent prank.
