It seems the Iphone may be coming to Canada... Read on good consumer...

I heard a rumor today at a Vancouver Mac shop that Rogers Wireless will be carrying the Apple iPhone in Canada in late fall 2007. I’ve contacted the people at Rogers to see if I can get confirmation and will update when I get word from them.

No word yet on the data plan pricing. Wireless data costs in Canada are usually significantly more expensive than in the US and Europe. To my knowledge the only way to get an unlimited plan in Canada is to be on a special $40/month Hiptop plan. Here’s hoping the Canadian carriers realize that they need to find a way to drive those costs down.
