Rules of Engagement

Okay…I have a new favorite show. It’s called Rules of Engagement and
stars David Spade. If you haven’t seen it, it’s about the lives of a
single guy (Spade), a newly engaged couple and a couple that has been
married for several years. Each show revolves around the different
opinions and approaches to various relational life situations as viewed
by each of the character sets.

Being that I’m very experienced in married life, I relate to “Jeff”
who is the husband in the married couple. This guy is my new hero! His
facial expressions, one liners and serious delivery leaving me laughing
out loud and sometimes clapping. I think what gets me is that I relate
to so many of the things he says or implies. Tonight he called Spade a
“meatwad.” Come on now. Just saying “meatwad” makes you chuckle!
