The big buzz in Silicon Valley recently was the announcement by Facebook to open up its f8 platform to developers. This created an enormous level of excitement due to the fact that now other software applications and widgets could reside within the Facebook service. This effectively allows companies to leverage the Facebook community of more than 23 million users.

New Media Consultant and Technology Entrepreneur, Rodney Rumford, immediately sensed there would be a great need for an objective service to rate and review the deluge of new applications as they become available on the Facebook Web site. He immediately launched www.FaceReviews.com as a destination blog site that publishes ratings and reviews of the new software applications and widgets available on Facebook.
