Father Ray Blake of St Mary Magdalen church in Brighton, England, links to a couple of sites at which there has been recent discussion of the the possibility that the Holy See will make a more extensive and permanent provision for those Anglicans who wish to 'cross the Tiber' whilst maintaining their accustomed rites and traditions corporately.  One of his links is to Father Aidan Nichols, O.P., who may, according to some speculators, be nominated to succeed Cardinal Murphy-O'Connor at Westminster; Father Blake's post is in any event well worth reading.  I believe that the slew of 'Anglican' blog postings got started at the Times, with this post of Ruth Gledhill's.
