"It is by no means enough," the TNI commander said after kicking off a 10K marathon organized in connection with the 62nd anniversary of TNI at the National Monument (Monas) square here on Sunday.

He said that the Russian state credit was one of the agreement packets between Indonesia and Russia in their defense cooperation. But the loan was not yet enough for the procurement of a sufficient arsenal system.

"The funds can be used only for the purchase of components of the existing alutsista system such as avionic and navigation of four Sukhois already possessed by Indonesia.

Agreement was reached on the purchase of the military equipment following the signing by the two countries of a US$1 billion export loan agreement during President Yudhoyono`s visit to Russia last year.
