Salinas Rural Gets New OES Firetruck

May 30, 2007 California - The Salinas Rural Fire Department rolled out its new fire engine Tuesday at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Monterey County now has three firetrucks provided free by the governor's Office of Emergency Services. North Monterey County Fire Protection District was recently allocated a 1990 fire truck by the OES, and the Carmel Valley Fire Department received a new OES truck in 2004.
