"Up in sunny Santa Barbara, the plucky editors of the Santa Barbara Independent publish a letter from former NewsPress editor Bob Guiliano to Mayor Marty Blum. Seems Wendy McCaw(ful) wasn't happy with a story written by Anna Davison about a downtown renovation project, and wanted Davison reprimanded for bias--she'd quoted the Mayor more than once, and that was too much for the Empress of the NewsPress."

A Feb 28 post was up (77 views) last night. TODAY IT WAS GONE. DISAPPEARED. MISSING. FROM NowPublic (that I am aware, that was a first) I checked the mail and no notice from NowPublic. Only the image is still up. NowPublic title WAS: Billionaire divorcee says no Mayor quotes! (image may have another title)

In another matter I'm having pc problems. One example:"Nw is te time for ll good men to come to he aid of ther arty" is how the letters come out if I don't correct. The letters skip. That's only one problem. SORRY. At other times it doesn't work at all.

I will take this test down tomorrow, if it doesn't go missing! I wasn't trying to say much. "for the first time a Now Public story about the News-Press disappeared!" was a comment on what happened.
"Can be found www.independent.com" is where there is a "story" if one was inclined.

Hello, This post disappeared and reappered. I did a 2nd one. Now it's gone and this wrong one returned. I'm checking to see see if I can find other missing posts. I've check mail, no word or explanation. I hope to hear from you. Thank you. L

ACTUAL NEWS GUY, The TEST was removed, the images remain. The original March 5, 2007 post "Laura Schlessinger and baby of the deceased" can be posted again or will it reappear?
Also "Santa Barbara, what went wrong?" disappeared. I posted a complete one. This incomplete one came back and the complete one is missing. Please let me hear from you. There are 2 missing that I know at this time. Thank you, L
