A shopping centre Santa Claus has been forced to wear a hard hat after being pelted with mince pies.Yobs launched the hail of pastry missiles from an upper level of the Paisley Centre in Renfrewshire as he was handing out treats to customers.
Concerned centre bosses have now issued the Santa with a builder's-style hard hat in case there are any further attacks.
Poor Santa. I hope he got a pay increase for the increased danger off the job.

If you see any photos related to this item, could you figure out how to upload 'em? And I mean with proper attribution and consent of the owners...
One way is to keep your eye on sites like Flickr and to ask the photographer permission to use it.
