Sasidharan Nair is a writer, editor and freelance journalist. He edited Malayalabhumi newspaper and monthly magazine, Akshayaprapanjam magazine (all in Malayalam) Malayalabhumi Weekly Newspaper (English) and presently editing The Indian Digest (English) web magazine. He was associated with Vettoor Raman Nair's Pakkanar magazine, Karnataka Malayali newspaper and T.A. Jose’s Sarvadesi magazine. He also worked in Mathrubhumi newspaper Mumbai Office for a short period and in Asia Publishing House as Malayalam Editor of their multilingual magazine Anandam. He edited Anupama, an annual Malayalam publication unique in style and contents and published continuously four years from Mumbai. He was Chief Editor of Sai Times, a Malayalam Newspaper from Ambernath. He published a novel, several short stories and numerous articles in Malayalam and English. He is a prolific writer and columnist. He is a postgraduate in English literature and has a MBA from Heriot-Watt University, U.K. He compiled the first Marathi - English - Malayalam Dictionary. He worked as a Sub Editor of The Afternoon Daily, Mumbai. Now he regularly contributes to little magazines and over a dozen citizen journalist news portals in India, the U.K., the U.S.A. and Canada. He has a combined loyal readership of over half million readers in 150 countries. He is a voracious reader and researcher in sexology, law, justice, human rights, politics, democracy, business management, literature, linguistics, music, folk dance, sociology and many other subjects.
