The Save Kananaskis Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the creation of a park in the eastern districts of Kananaskis Country, including the Sheep, Elbow and Sibbald districts. In order to ensure that this park provides a rewarding experience for recreational and tourism use, a secure, high quality water supply, and a stable natural habitat for wildlife, all new industrial activity in the area should cease immediately. This group's mandate will be to protect and promote the social, economic, and environmental interests of Albertans.
