Hey..when the school has a no jewelry policy, it doesn't matter that it's a religious symbol of your intentions not to have sex before marriage.  So thought a High Court judge after he ruled in favour of the school that bans the wearing of jewelry and against a girl who sued the school claiming her rights were violated due to the ban.

Lydia Playfoot, 16, says her silver ring is an expression of her faith and had argued in court that it should be exempt from school regulations banning the wearing of jewelry.
