Schwarzenegger released after surgery

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was released from the hospital Saturday following successful surgery to fix a fractured leg suffered while skiing.

The Hollywood action-hero-turned-politician expects to walk with crutches when he is sworn in Friday to begin his second term as California's governor.

Schwarzenegger, 59, fractured his right femur on December 23 while skiing in Sun Valley, Idaho, and underwent a 90-minute operation on December 26 to knit the broken bones back together.
