I have done some anecdotal research on whether cats watch TV, and what it means if one cat watches and another doesn't. My sister has the "slow but nice cat" that always liked regular TV. The smarter cat ignored the "boob tube."

Now comes this report from tv.predictions and also anecdotal research (my sister now has HDTV) that cats are watching TV now in greater numbers. Perhaps advertisers and programmers should note this trend and produce shows that the owners will watch because Puss won't let them turn it off.
