Reminds me of the effort to splice some spider genes into a goat.

Makes one rather queasy.

This is just repulsive. When will people finally stop to inflict immense suffering and pain on non-humans? Experimentation continues to be justified with the notions of "science" and "progress". However, any enlightened being should be opposed to this barbaric practice. And for people who will respond to this with words like "but it cures diseases and decreases the suffering of Homo Sapiens" - you are way off. One of the leading schools in medicine, namely Harvard University, does not use animal experimentation.
