a storm hangs over the North Vancouver Shore

As I took this photo at 3 pm, the roof of my sister's house, within this view, flew off her house and into her backyard. Luckily no one was hurt, but emergency housing now has to be found for her family of eight peoiple, 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 parrots. My own neightbourhood in East Vancouver is littered with trees. Kudos for the power company who had our power back in in a matter of hours.
