Just a bit from NewsBusters

Many conservatives are familiar with a marvelous book by Peter Schweizer entitled “Do As I Say (Not As I Do):
Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy.” In it, Schweizer detailed how America’s
top liberals are famous for not practicing what they preach.

If you dig deep enough into anyone's life, you can find a mountain of hypocrisy. I'm sure Gandhi was a hypocrite if you watch an uncensored video capture of his entire life. In the case of Al Gore and other figures this book attacks, the power of their ideas far outweighs the stench of their hypocrisy.

"I'm not gonna stop driving my SUV because Al Gore's family farm wastes energy, and he's a hypocrite!" is the argument of an idiot.

"My doctor told me to lose weight, but he weights 300 pounds! He's a hypocrite! I'm not going to listen to him!" Ok, well, you're still going to die.

Remember: Gandhi beat his wife. Point is that there's no such thing as a saint. Even if Gore eschewed any fossil fuel usage and lived in a palm tree, our global warming situation would still be what it is today.

Having said that, it's Sean Hannity. I mean, come on.

Toastie: I understand what you are saying, however Gore is still a hypocrite, this is blatently obvious to anyone, even an idiot. You do not have to "Dig" to find this out. No one is telling you that you should waste resources just because Gore does, this does not reduce his hyprocisy, which is the point of the article....do you not get this?

Anyone that stands to gain, in some way, from something they tell you that you should do, yet does not choose to do it themselves is called a hypocrite plain and simple.

In your comments about what might be considered hypocrisy, you site some elementary examples. and none of the examples, which you do state, would make a profit for the hypocrite. You state that "You can dig deep enough into anyone's life and find a mountain of hypocrisy".(guess you never heard of Jesus) I do not believe this to be true. Some people do have values and they live by them, and do not expect to be paid or gain fame and favor for them. I believe that if someone, especially a figure such as Al Gore, makes such a leftwing, ridiculous statement, and especially a "Documentary"  about how you should live your life, yet does the opposite, this is more than hypocrisy it leans toward eliteism and lies for profit. Fantasy and Fiction, if you will.  You should not do this because it harms the earth, but I do not live this way  because i'm special.  Where is the disclosure that this is a  fictional documentary and is not the way Gore lives his life?

Gandhi belonged to another culture with its own norms and values, that's an unfair comparison.

Good point about Gore, though. If he, or anyone else, went completely green, they'd be lumped with all the other social deviants. We'd call him crazy and no one would go see his movie.

"the truth ?"

as someone who worked for the same organisation as Hannity for many years I can assure you from personal experince that Rupert Murdoch's mantra is that he is in the "entertainment" business-not the business of diseminating the truth. (lol)

Accoerding to Snopes .com this claim is true. A spokesman for the Gore household claims that its o.k. because Al and Tipper have a household much bigger than most and they work from thier home too.We are currently bombarded by adds that ask our kids to unplug their cell phone chargers in order to save power. I bet Al and Tipper would never consider such action. In their statement they go on  that they are justified because "they give" about 10 % of their power bill to "Green Power." How about living with less instead of living larger and asking us to support you.  Leave it to a Democrate to ask me to sacrifice so they can have more and as a Democrate I'm getting tired saying "yes master."

SCANDALS! SCANDALS! SCANDALS!

MANY OF THE WORST CASES OF RACIAL PREJUDICE IN WORLD HISTORY!

LONG LIVE PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA!

Barack Obama is a racial minority and does not like racism.

WORLDWIDE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION RELATING TO SCANDALS:

(I) I do solemnly swear by Almighty God that George W. Bush committed atrocious, racist, hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism which I am not at liberty to mention. Many people know what Bush did. And many people will know what Bush did—even until the end of the world. Bush was absolute evil. Bush is now like a fugitive from justice. In any case, Bush will go down in history in infamy.

(II) It is opined that Bill Clinton committed terrifying, racist, hate crimes during his presidency, and I am not free to say anything further about it. ‘Be sure your sins will find you out’ (Numbers 32:23).

(III) What if basically all racial-minority people would subscribe to the interpretations that George Herbert Walker Bush committed monstrous, racist, hate crimes while he was the President of the United States? It will eventually come out: it is only a matter of time.

(IV) I know it may be hard to believe. However, Ronald Wilson Reagan committed horrible, racist, hate crimes during his presidency.
